Little Huatuo Visits the Campus 小小華佗問診至校園 The exam season is over, the students are ready for the summer vacation. We proceed closely the Become Master Herbalist Junior school visit on these relaxing days. We designed the activity with thoughtful mind from the experience in Picture Book Project. More suitable for all levels of school children. The Practitioners not just provided TCM health information also interacted with the host and students. We can’t miss the introduction of the Shennong and Huatuo since they were Master Herbalist. Students also can experience the life of legends. The bronze man of acupuncture was introduced together with a specially film, toy truck game on the loop track. It explained the human body meridians vividly. The Practitioners also invited a weak puppet as patient, explained the treatments on spot. Sand scraping, cupping, acupuncture and massage jumped out of pictures and words immediately. And the students made all kind of childlike guesses on the unknown bottles of plant, animal and mineral medicine. Finally, the students absorbed the tips of healthy life while interacting and having fun. We felt the students’ enthusiasm through their thoughts and feedback. The content of the activity is new to elementary school students. The lecturer fully use the resources, pictures, VR exhibitions, Chinese medicine, etc. to explain Chinese Medicine Culture. Virtual Tour with Master Herbalist Junior (Closed) 小小華佗線上遊 (已完結) Become Master Herbalist Junior HASH Creative Chinese Medicine Culture Amusement Space was perfectly finished almost three months. We selected some interesting activities to schools. Those who have missed the exhibition can learn about Chinese medicine culture in the interaction of school visits. But the time of school visits is limited. And we adhere to the aim of happy learning. Therefor, we turned Become Master Herbalist Junior into a Virtual Tour. Here’s the chance for those who haven’t been to there or who want to revisit. You will see the Big Gourd, glass Baizigui, Rainie dad bronze figure and various Chinese medicine treatment tools, etc. with introductions and interesting stories. Since time and place are no longer an obstacles, happiness is of course unlimited. Sincerely thanks for every hard-earned ‘LIKE’ to the iHerbal Garden! 「網絡時空百草園」衷心感謝，感謝每個得來不易的LIKE！ The month-long “iHerbal Garden 2021/22” online exhibition and voting period has ended. After the preliminary information is sorted out, we are very encouraged by the number of views and votes has made the “Most LIKE iHerbal Garden”. The project exceeded our expectations. We would like to congratulate Salesian Yip Hon Millennium Primary School become the “Most LIKE iHerbal Garden” in 2021/22. Their dedication to the garden and substantial reports successfully won the most supports and appreciation. In addition, we also set up awards for the “Thoughtful” planted garden. The gardens are take care in “Aesthetic” and “Neat” way. Also the gardens are growing more “Vigorous” and “Healthy”. We fully affirmed the outstanding performance of the students and schools in different areas. “iHerbal Garden” will continue to be open after that. You are welcome to visit and share all the information. The planting results and reports from our joining schools are an important resource. As a learning case to promote and deepen the herbal knowledge for other schools in the future. We broke the geographical restrictions and established an online viewing trail, visiting medicine gardens of Macau and Taiwan. Because of the positive response, we decided to extend the exhibition on the platform. This March and April, we continue to contact Chinese Medicine Culture 這個3、4月，延續接觸文化 This March and April we start with reading, step into the playful learning space of diverse Chinese Medicine Culture. “Health Study” is now enabled! 「健康書房」啟用了！ Open this door, the unattainable concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine will become approachable, integrated into your life and close to what you have learned. Walking into the Study, the healthy culture that children need to grow up will be transformed into lively, heartwarming and touching pieces. Which not only facilitate children’s self-study but also help parents-children resonate together. We believe that the growth of “Healthy Study” can be called real health by igniting children's interest, absorbing the input of parents, and introducing the support of schools. 11th of this month, we brought picture books into the “Health Study”. Hand in hand with the Traditional Chinese medicine health culture to build an extraordinary reading space. Mid-term Review of i-Herbal Garden 百草園之旅的中期檢閱 The school visit activity of “i-Herbal Garden” has reached the third lesson. After on-site inspection by gardener, it was found that the growth conditions of herbal plants vary greatly in different school gardens. For example, some perilla trees are vigorously growing, while others are almost withered, so they are in a hurry for emergency treatment; In case of pest infestation, further pest control is required. Regardless of the difference between school gardens, the activity has been obvious to all students to gain knowledge of herbal medicine. In the 1st phase of the questionnaire survey, 89% of the students surveyed agreed that the “i-Herbal Garden” can help them understand the culture of Chinese Medicine. 88% of the students hope we can hold more related activities on campus in the future to provide more knowledge for the understanding of traditional Chinese Medicine culture. This is indeed an encouraging result! The students were chatting happily with the gardener and Chinese Medicine Practitioner around the plants. They analyzed the reasons of the plants in crisis and guided students to take emergency actions. It is a valuable lesson. The students will have to prepare the interim report later. Then, the program will be enter the next stage, everyone will witness how the gardens will blossom! Spring is approaching. In this warm and humid season, students must take every step to prevent bacteria and pests from harming plants and avoid falling short! 不經不覺，「網絡時空百草園」校訪活動已進行到第三節課。經過園藝師現場視察，發現草藥植物的生長狀況，在不同校舍園圃出現很大落差，例如紫蘇，有的蓬勃生長，有的卻近乎枯乾，趕著急救；又例如桑樹，部分健康生長，有些卻遇蟲害，要進一步除蟲照料。 不過，姑勿論百草枯榮有別，但活動對同學們在草本植物藥知識上的得著，明顯有目共睹。首階段問卷調查中，89%受訪同學同意「網絡時空百草園」有助了解中醫藥文化及中草藥種植，88%受訪同學希望我們往後能到校園舉辦更多相關活動，提供更多知識，加深了解中醫藥文化。這著實是個叫人鼓舞的結果！ 看園藝師、醫師跟同學圍著欣欣向榮的植物，大家談得興高采烈；又或對著陷入危機的花草，剖析原因，指導同學採取救急行動；同樣都是寶貴的一課。之後，同學開始著手準備中期報告，繼而進入下一階段，讓大家共同見證如何開花結果！ 春天快要來臨，在這和暖潮濕的季節，同學們更要步步為營，防止細菌及害蟲對植物的傷害，避免功虧一簣！ #網絡時空百草園 #iHerbalGarden #校訪活動 #SchoolVisit #香港 #HongKong iHerbal Garden News Back | Next

The third and fourth Picture Books are Coming Soon! 中醫藥文化兒童教育繪本 第三、四册登場預告 We published “Sky. Ground. Human. Medical” and “Where is our Medicine?“, showing the culture of Traditional Chinese Medicine emerges in “characters” and “daily life“. This becomes a popular in the promotion of Chinese Medicine Culture. Here we announce the third and fourth picture books will be released on next month (June), “The Secret of Chinese Medicine“ and “Good Memory of Chinese Medicine Culture”. The Rainie family will continue to immerse in the cultural river with a childlike innocence. They do not need the costumes or time machine. But they still could travel through the past and the present. In the spirit and benevolence of Traditional Chinese Medicine which can last forever in our times. The new series of picture books has entered the post-production stage. After the books are published, our schools visit tour will begin.
